July and August

I guess having 5 kids takes up a lot of my time. Blogging usually is last on my list. Maybe someday I'll get the hang of everything and blog more often. For now every once in awhile will have to do! So here is the deal-eo...

July... There was the 4th of July celebration in Livermore, Adam turned 3 and got a hair cut, Kaitlyn learns to crawl, a beach trip and our trip to Six flags Marine World!

August... we went camping near the beach with our friends. We all had so much fun and everyone stayed warm at night, including Kaitlyn. We also celebrated Grandpa's and Cory's birthdays. Megan and Jonathan started school on the 16th.

My Big Girl

Well I finally started Kaitlyn on baby cereal today. I waited until she turned 6 months, I was in no rush this time. She was defintitley ready. Kaitlyn is always trying to grab my food and watches me take every bite. On Monday night, when I took the 3 younger ones out to dinner, Kaitlyn managed to grab a small thing of sauce and dumped it, which landed on her car seat that was laying on the floor below us! What a mess! I've been holding off these past few days, feeding her solids, because I wanted to make her high chair a new cover that wasn't falling apart. So on Tuesday I bought the fabric and today I finally finished the whole thing. I think it turned out pretty cute. Anyway here are a few pictures from today...

Adam on the move

Okay I was going to do this post awhile back but never got to it. Then Jimmy posted one of Butters and all her strange sleeping habits and it reminded me to do one for Adam. So here is Adam and all the places he's chosen to sleep.

April updates

Well it has been a long time since I blogged. Now of course they made me change from FTP to blogger.com. I think I will just post random things for this month. Hopefully the month of May I will post more often.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Waiting to go find Easter eggs!

Kaitlyn spending time with her Daddy.

We had to remove the crib bumper because she kept playing with it and we were worried that she would fall asleep with it on her face. Not sure if it will go back up even if I fix it.

 My happy baby!!

Kaitlyn and me

Adam has been fighting naps for awhile now. He will yell "No Pad Thai"! (which means no nap time)

I often find Kaitlyn playing with her toy or trying to suck on the crib bars.

Megan and Jonny being so silly on the way to Grandma and Grandpa's house!

 Celebrating Christy's birthday!

Jonny showing off his goofy smile along with his goofy helmet!

March Madness!

March was all over the place for us. The first part of the month we battled sicknesses and hospital visits! Adam had pneumonia and had to be hospitalized! He was in for 4 days! Cory stayed over night and part of the mornings and I took the afternoon to late evenings. It was hard having to leave Kaitlyn at home and not being able to nurse her. Somehow we survived... and then, when we were home again, Adam had a fever and hard time breathing again! Another ambulance ride from the ER to the hospital in Stockton with RSV! This trip only lasted 3 days. I think Adam was finally getting used to the nurses and doctors coming by every 10 minutes to pester him. It was all for his good but he just didn't understand what was going on. When we got home we had to break him of his eating and drinking everything in bed! He was very demanding at the hospital and tried to continue it when we got home, so we had to break him of that too. This picture is Adam getting his breathing treatments at home. The second time around he actually let us put his "puppy" mask on him and give him his medicine. (He's watching SpongeBob)Kaitlyn is a cutie-pie!

Cory and the kids decide to make a giant loopty track to race the cars down the stairs!

Spring is here!! Funny that Adam was 6 months old when we first moved here and I put him in the same swing! Kaitlyn is too young to care about the swing.

Jonny spends his "Mommy Money" and gets this cool Lego set!

Megan turns 9 years old!

Jonny becomes a robot bunny!

Adam is too cool for breakfast!

Ethan is always giving us thumbs up and telling us that we are his best friends!

I get a new haircut!
