What fun!!

The kids decided to dig out their bike helmets and ride bikes, even though it was late. Ethan was so excited to have a helmet too, he doesn't know that it's Megan's old one. Cory finally replaced Megan's bike seat with one that I bought on E-bay. They are all super happy!

I caught all the kids trying to brush their teeth at the same time, including little Adam. He kept pulling on their clothes to stand himself up. He just wanted in on the fun!

Cory played many games with Megan and Jonathan on Saturday. First he played a round of checkers with Megan and he won. Then he played a Silly Face game with both Megs and Jonny. Then Megan asked for a re-match of checkers. Of course Megan whooped his butt good!! Then they decided to play Monopoly Junior. They had a lot of fun playing this game. Jonny even learned some math while playing. Ultimately Megan won, with Jonny winning second place and their Daddy in dead last!! All in all, good times had by all!

Baby you're so vain...

Adam loves seeing himself on my computer screen. He squeals with delight every time he sees his cute little face. When I showed a picture of his baby cousin, he actually got a little scared and was winding up to cry! So I quickly changed it back to a picture of him and once again he was a happy little boy!

Day to Day...

I found Adam chewing on this piece of foam from one of Jonny's rockets. And this one he's chewing on one of the kid's toothbrushes .

Adam crawling around and being oh so cute. I found these two playing so nicely, using the box as a table for their toys.

Adam was so tired, but seemed to have enough energy to finish off his bottle of milk. He also likes to prop his little feet up underneath his highchair.

I love this picture of Adam. I put a handful of Cheerios on the floor for him and I decided to take a picture, since he looked so adorable. Well when I focus the camera on his face, it shines an orange light on his face. He then starts making all sorts of faces, I guess he doesn't like the bright light in his eyes, all I know is that he makes the cutest little scrunchy faces

This picture of Ethan makes me laugh. He is trying to give me a "Thumbs up" but can't quite get his thumb to stick up in the air. One time I caught him peeking at me during the dinner prayer and he gave me his cute thumbs up, and also shushed me!!

Again another one of Adam's funny faces. This one is for his Aunt Christy! I guess Cory said that he, for some reason I don't know, likes to shake his fist at Christy. I guess if you want the story you will have to ask Cory, cause even I don't know this inside joke.

Megan and Jonathan warming up in the sleeping bag together, watching Chowder, no doubt. These two do everything together, and when Megan feels like have some alone time, Jonny gets pretty upset that she doesn't want to play.

The kids all lined up around Cory's computer to watch Curious George movie. Adam looks so tiny sitting in such a big chair.

Megan's Birthday

March 26, 2008 Megan turns 7 years old!
Megan received the Barbie from Maiya and Papa. Cory and I gave her the Rainbow Fairies series books 1 through 7 (which as of now, she has read all of them). The last picture, Cory gave her a sheet of plywood! Then he told her that was for a new Barbie doll house that he would construct for her. I'm thinking this will be an on going project. She also got Strawberry shortcake doll and Junie B. Jones book from her Grandma and Grandpa Patten.

Easter

So the kids had fun searching for eggs filled with candy that the Easter Bunny left around our family room. Megan and Jonathan moved quickly throughout the room, snatching up pastel colored eggs, as if their lives depended on it. Ethan was slower but much better than last year, where he would just sit there and try to open the eggs and eat the candy.

Sunshine!

The kids playing in our backyard

Here is Adam swinging in the baby swing. I can't push him too high or he starts flopping around in the seat. He loves to chew on the yellow plastic bar, and ends up drooling all over himself!

Ethan absolutely loves the swings! He shouts "Side!" to go outside. He won't stop saying "bease" and "hep" until you get him onto the swing and start pushing him. He lights up and shouts "weee!" and once in awhile he puts both hands in the air and says "whoo-hoo!" which is a little dangerous when he is riding the see-saw.

Megan loves the swings as much as Ethan does. If you can't find Megan inside, then she is outside swinging away! Megan also loves that we finally set up the soccer goals that we got from Santa at Christmas time. I'm thinking we might have to get her signed up to play on a team or something.

Jonathan loves to play pirates outside with Megan. They pretend that the part with the slide is the pirate ship and they love to search for treasure (hopefully not the little treasures Jimmy's puppy leaves behind when they come to visit!). Jonathan also loves to ride his bike on the back patio and I'm sure he would love to learn to ride his daddy's skateboard.
