The Birthdays

So mixed in with all the holiday hustle and bustle, we celebrate two birthdays and an anniversary. Kaitlyn's birthday is the same as our anniversary on the 19th and Jonny's birthday is on the 20th. We had Grandma and Grandpa come over to help us celebrate. Kaitlyn got a tea pot present, that she loves! She also got a cute dress and a little people girl with car that makes sounds. Jonny got the one thing that he has been asking for for years! He finally got a DS and has been playing it non-stop! Both sets of Grandparents helped with his present. Grandma and Grandpa got him a DS game that he loves! We had, upon Jonny's request, chocolate cake with strawberries and whip topping. YUM!

Earlier in the day we blew up yellow balloons and I drew Spongebob Squarepants and friends on them. She is totally obsessed with Spongebob. That was her first word in morning on her birthday, telling us that she wanted to watch it. When we put the show on she exclaimed "Spongebob, Yay!" and clapped her hands!

Long time no see!

Well it's been awhile... sorry! So this might be a big post, depends on if I get tired or not.  :)  So here we go--

Tubby time

This morning I  heard some bonking sounds in the bathroom and went in to check it out. This is what I discovered...

She has been getting into a lot of things lately. She climbs on one of the couches and basically does the same "Dancy Feet". She helps herself to the food in the kitchen cupboard. At church she walks over to the stack of chairs and shakes them and checks to see if I'm watching her. She knows that I don't want her to do that, but loves the reaction she gets out of me! There is a hole at the bottom of our back screen door, she tries to wiggle her body underneath it so she can go out back with the other kids. She is a handful... a handful of cuteness!!

The rest of April

Sunday April 17th - Just sword fighting after church! The boys were being so dramatic with their sword play, it was hilarious! Adam was real good at playing dead!

On April 22, Cory, Jonny, Ethan and Adam all went to the Father Son Campout! This was Adam's first year going and he had an awesome time! Ethan saw the kid, with "white hair" from his primary class.They had a great time while us girls went shopping and out to dinner!

Earlier that day Jonny went bowling with the cub scouts! He had a great time and even got some spares and a strike!

 April 24th - EASTER we woke up early to find eggs filled with candy before church. Kaitlyn had a fun time finding eggs and shaking them trying to figure out what was inside. When she learned that it was candy, she wanted to shove all of it at once in her mouth! Yummy and messy! The kids dyed eggs with Grandma the day before while Cory and I went out on a date. We went to Outback, YUM! Sunday afternoon was Christy's birthday celebration. I didn't get any photos of that since my camera battery died. I did get a couple of pictures of Kaitlyn after church in her Easter dress. I will have to get copies of the pictures that Grandpa took of the other kids. They all looked so cute!
